The new Federal Reserve loose coin bag is constructed of
Super-Tough, Power-Pak 6.5mil clear film, this bag will hold up to 50 pounds of
coin. It features a tamper evident Muscle-Pak Lock-In adhesive seal that is
permanent and simple to use. With this bag there is no longer a need to use bag
seals! The bag has dual sequential numbering with bar code and tear off receipt
for easy tracking. Two color stock imprint to record bag content information (A
Federal Reserve requirement). Reinforced handle makes heavier coin safer and
easier to carry. Bag is manufactured with non-slip film to prevent slipping when
stacked.

Currency Bags For Bank Deposits

The United States Federal
Reserve Bank has announced that as of June 1, 2003 they will no longer be
accepting canvas bags for currency deposits. The requirement states that the
deposits that were made in canvas now be made in a clear plastic envelope no
larger than 19"x28" with a minimum film gauge of .005 mil.
